Getting there

So hello Peeps of the Iron I hope you all have had a great training week so far i missed yesterday as i was just to stressed overworked under payed what ever you want to call it I was just a bit burnt out but I cam back tonight to get back on track so today's session was a little closer than the sessions I was used to except I need to increase intensity now and then start adding massive poundage's to put the cherry on the top Still not worth posting I estimate that I will be back to a normal regime by next week tomorrow I will start increasing the volume and see how it (Breaks) works for me

So with my newest life struggle I have lost an tremendous amount of weight even my face is starting to cut, No just kidding the training is currently still in beginning face but i can still feel that I trained yet barely feeling great about it yet. . .Maybe if the cold goes away i will get a decent haircut and maybe I will feel better then. . .even possibly a shave and some African sun tan


yes definitely needs loads of attention those little skinny fore arms man they need to be damaged by some intense lifting


No Sorry not quite touching my nose so a little bit more intensity and loads more weight coming next week

Getting Back to a better minded me

So Peeps of the iron and pushing harder each day I hope you are well, I again trained with not quite the intensity I am supposed to the smoking and flu is still holding me back a bit. I will have to stop smoking in pursuit of my goals, I trained a bit better tonight but again not worthy of posting here. I will build slowly each day this week and hopefully next week be on a level where I can train the whole way through a complete session I feel that my heartbeat and lung capacity isn't quite up to speed yet after the flu or virus or whatever they call it. . .So bare with me will have some good updates again shortly. . .

Again some new pics of the training again please its merely to track my progress in no way are these anything to look up to yet. . .

So yes here the definition is slowly coming but I have obviously lost a lot of thickness due to under performance by the Bi's I've started hitting the biceps slightly harder the past two sessions and I think the results will soon start to show I hope. . .Shoulders are still very small but at least its starting to show a little maybe a year from now Ill look at these pics and laugh at the futile re-beginnings


The Traps are looking OK for now I will have to just increase the resistance quite a bit as I am building up again it will increase with time and loads of effort which I will gladly do. . .As for back and lower back coming soon no real effort in those departments as of yet. . .


My pectoral line is almost coming out yet I still also have not yet quite made a plan for a bench again however it does concern me as my Pecs used to be one of my biggest assets now merely a little shade soon to be filled again I promise. . .


I think that the bi-tri link needs a lot of attention in not only shape but trimming the cavity to get that ripped look very soon. . .and maybe a haircut while I'm looking at LOL


Yes the fore arm has suffered severe neglect over the past year and was a forgotten piece of the puzzle for quite a while soon to be updated with a thicker more shapely unit and bulging coming very soon as quite big priority. . .I think Clips are needed again to just help them along nicely. . .


So peeps its not far into the week and I already feel like improvements are happening i wish to start with a little Cardio again soon again still no plan for a cycle or anything so for now I will stay with HST methodology but include a quick morning session to ensure that the fat burning also goes well and as soon as I include the legs and abs everything will be a small step in he right direction.

I am still slightly weary of doing legs due to my ill behave lung capacity and struggling heart rate but in good time this week by end of the week early next week I think things will definitely start happening again I am pushing harder and harder each day for more to be achieved. . .

Little beginnings


After little flu time off and I can feel my body has taken quite a blow it is rather distressing how far everything falls when you have flu for two weeks . . .Well the lungs opened up during the day apart from me sitting around contemplating most of the time, I finally got up to work out the last little bit of the flu and it felt great I have to admit not up to standard but definitely a good starting point again. . .I really only did my upper body not even worth mentioning what i did and it resulted in a good 20 mins start up to get back into action. . .

Traps again starting to show a little intention of coming out and making known its muscle I think that it can possibly be the best asset of my arm but everyone including me is just mesmerized by biceps so obviously they received more attention


My Chest have been lagging for way to long now yet I still have no solution for a bench yet as my space is still very limited. . .All in good time yet it better happen soon as size is the main goal here and any diminishing of that might have negative effect. . .


Belly is slowly shrinking away gladly!! still loads to go. . .


Oh you little bicep its time to get a wake up cal but now after the flu has gone it will return to a higher state I beleive

Out from the cold

So Hello Iron freaks and fans . . .I have been sick for the past week, very sick so training was stopped due to fear of getting pneumonia, But the chest is starting to clear up fast and hopefully by next week we can continue our pursuit of size and power back soon. . .

Yes I've done it again this time its sticking!


So hello peeps just a quick update as I have quite a bit to do tonight (This morning) whatever!, So training this morning was very hard yeah the HST is definitely getting my lungs back to normal and I will stop smoking in the coming week (No Drugs just quit).

I have decided yesterday or the day before that I want to start winning in all aspects of life for too long have a placed myself second and it sucks, and it was mostly to my great ability to make excuses for not going the extra mile not pushing myself beyond all reason . . .

So I have now done 2 days which is still very humble beginnings i.e. 6 training sessions but getting there if I can just hit the two weeks mark I’m there and then the results will also start showing big time. . .So I place a load of mental emphasis on my training as that is where I lacked the most and now getting it all together. . .Just do it! Whatever it is and whilst you’re doing do it well!

So today I did the following:
Morning session:

Chest Flies 25kgs a side x 1 set of 15
Chin Ups 25kgs  a side x 1 set of 15
Shrugs 25kgs x a side 1 set of 15
Side twisties 25kgs a side x 1 set of 15
Sit ups 20 reps
Hammer Curls 25kgs a side x 1 set of 15
Tri Presses 20kgs a side x 1 set of 15
Lunges 25kgs a side x 1 set of 15
Calve Raises 25kgs a side x 1 set of 15

Cardio I thought it’s still a bit cold to go cycle outside so I did this morning HST Cycle again like yesterday with 5Kgs a side and 30 reps

Evening Session

Dips 2 Sets of 8
Tri Presses lying down 20kgs a side x 4 set of 8
Shrugs 25kgs a side x 4 set of 8
Chin Ups 25kgs a side x 2 set of 8

So from next week onwards I will start increasing the weight per exercise and more as I am just still getting my lung capacity up and my heartbeat used to training again as soon as those are halfway there I start pushing the level higher and then some more and soon the results will show again 

My Triceps had always displayed well except that they are so small and insignificant that I cant help thinking of more ways to get them to grow up a bit I will start implementing more focused training for them soon

Todays Training schedule Completed


Like I said in earlier posts no more fidgeting around Time to get back into shape or shift out and get old. . .Ill rather train hard. . .So here is the cycle that I have completed today it seems like a bit much but I do it in two sessions one in the morning and one at night with the cardio at night as well Tonight I am training round 12 midnight not the optimal time im sure but things will improve (If I have time I will put weight uses in Kg's down just for interest sake and its still very basic beginnings again so no fear well let me complete it quickly and then Ill complete the post. . .

Now to push some iron . . .
So I started this morning with some Basic Hypertrophy Specific Training (HST)

Chest Flies 25kgs per side, 1 Set 10 reps
Front Raises 25kgs per side, 1 Set 10 reps
Shruggs 25kgs per side, 1 Set 10 Reps
Lat Flies 25kgs per side, 1 Set 10 Reps
Hammer curls 25kgs per side, 1 Set 10 Reps
Tricep Ectentions top 25kgs per side, 1 Set 10 Reps
Squat 50kgs 1 set 10 reps
Calve Raises 50kgs, 1 Set 20 Reps

For My cardio of the day I did this mornings HST Cycle (above) With 5Kgs a side doing 1 Set 30 Reps high speed.

My main course Night Session ( I just completed)


Bicep Curls dumbells 25Kgs per side, 2 Sets 8 Reps
hammer Curls 25Kgs per side, 2 Sets 8 Reps
Concentration Curls 25Kgs per side, 2 Sets 8 Reps
Lat Flies 25Kgs per side, 6 Sets 8 Reps

I think that is a good start to get back to where I was way back in 2009 round there you can check the blogs history to view it, so now for some work and then bed back with some more training tomorrow have a good one peeps and remember nothing comes by easy if you want to accomplish your goals you have to sacrifice and work for it so step up to the plate and get it done!

Back on track after some severe motivation!


Hello peeps of the iron rod and heavy weights, I have been working very hard and very ineffective the past few months and today I decided that it is all in the past now is the time to step up to the plate and start doing things the right way or not doing them at, with my training I have procrastinated so long that I actually got over myself and started enjoying the rush of blood through my muscles so I started again today yes the way it should be, I’ll be doing a 5 day split combined with a morning session of HST if I miss either one of the set times I will just have to do both whenever I can. It is time to start doing what is supposed to be done so I took some pictures of my terrible shape as starting point . . . 

So watch where it’s going. . .

I started off this morning with a bit of HST using 2 X 25Kg (+/- 50 Pounds) dumbbell’s and trained the body hard . . .I’m still shaking. I am not even close to a level you can call a fitness level but give me some time I will be getting back into that space soon I have taken some ugly pic’s to aid as starting point . . .I will also do some cardio and start my split routine today (I am not going to start slowly I’m going to start! Right)

so luckily after going through a few rough patches at least i lost quite a lot of weight! not enough yet but better than the past 5 years. . .and now I will even get more done!

From all the physical jobs I've been doing lately my shoulders have actually come up a bit but my biceps have gone down terribly and so also my chest, my stomach declined very well. . .My traps however are almost gone and my lats are still hiding in the back being quite flat. . and my legs what legs they are the worst and possibly needs the most work V


aha in this pic you see a little bit of the old lats shining through but nothing to be proud of my obliques and abs needs a lot of work and will also be one of my many focus points


In this pic you see that my belly has gone down quite a bit but i still probably have about 30-40% of fat around it that needs urgent cardio attention.


apart from the size being gone there is no cut and very little shape in the bicep or fore arm area definitely something to work on and work on hard. . .


So now to get things back into shape on target and improve !
